About Us

About us.

Improving energy efficiency, Reducing CO2 and Alleviating Fuel Poverty.

Who we are.

Litegreen is a value-driven business with a green heart and a passion for driving positive change. As impartial industry experts with no products to sell, we are proud to operate in a socially responsible, ethical, and sustainable manner as we work towards achieving Net Zero.

Our 5-star Google rating and numerous award nominations attest to our expertise in Energy Efficiency, Assessment, and Retrofit. Based in Wrexham and working across North Wales, we collaborate with businesses, local authorities, and the government to help organisations and individuals save energy and money while driving the Net Zero agenda forward. Our work also supports the installation of home energy efficiency measures, such as solar panels or insulation, for qualifying households or as part of area-based schemes that regenerate communities and combat fuel poverty on a large scale.

In addition to our core activities, we provide accredited training and development workshops with different motivations to help our mission.

Since our establishment in 2018, we have delivered quality services to clients across various sectors, earning recognition in several start-up and industry-specific awards, including 'Start-Up of the Year' and 'Green Business of the Year.'

We take a moral stance on improving the world and communities in which we live and work. Our passion for making a positive impact is evident in the time, skills, and profits we invest in supporting local charities and community benefit initiatives that align with our core values of Environment, Collaboration, Accessibility, and Quality.

You can learn more about our community efforts on our Community Benefit Page.

We are energetic, enthusiastic, and open to new ideas and innovation. We love what we do, and we welcome discussions with anyone who wishes to learn about bin more socially and environmentally responsible or who would like to work with us.

What we do.

Litegreen provide a one stop service for energy efficiency & resource efficiency matters. From assessment and diagnostic trouble-shooting surveys through to advice, recommendations, Retrofit, compliance, consultancy and more.

Energy Efficiency Grant support.

At Litegreen, we offer a helping hand to people looking to improve the energy efficiency of their homes. We provide expert advice on how to access fully funded energy efficiency improvements that won't cost the occupant a penny. We're proud to say that our impartial services have been highly valued by everyone we've supported so far.

Our government-funded services cover the cost of measures such as solar panels, insulation, and new boilers. We've helped thousands of homeowners, renters, landlords, and local authorities to access this funding, and take the necessary steps towards saving money and the planet.

The process of accessing these grants can be confusing and complex, but we're here to guide you through every step of the way. The best part is, our services are paid for by the grants themselves, so there's no need to worry about any hidden costs or fees. To learn more about how we can help you access these grants, visit our grants page.

Retrofit Turn-Key Services.

Litegreen is committed to supporting homeowners in their journey towards achieving energy efficiency and home renovations. We offer a streamlined service to simplify the complex PAS2035 process, making it easy for homeowners to install energy efficiency measures in their homes.

Our team of trained and accredited specialists provides a range of services to support this journey, including producing RdSAP and condition reports, SBEM calculations, detailed floor plans, and occupancy assessments. By providing these services, we help homeowners improve their home's energy efficiency and ensure that 'each home counts.'

The Retrofit Hub.

We are proud to have our beginnings in Wrexham, North Wales as the UK's first 'Retrofit Hub'. As the largest national network of Retrofit & Domestic Energy Assessors, designers, and coordinators in the industry, we offer UK-wide coverage and fast turnaround times. Our services cater to homeowners, local authorities, and installers seeking fully compliant end-to-end PAS2035 Retrofit solutions to access funding and create more environmentally friendly homes for a sustainable future.

Energy Performance Certificates (EPC'S)

When we are not developing the company, we are developing the person. We provide Domestic Energy Performance Certificates, which are required by law when selling or leasing a domestic property anywhere in the UK. We assist the property market in meeting and comprehending their minimum energy efficiency standards (MEES), offering guidance, promoting positive change, and ensuring that everyone can achieve their full energy efficiency potential.

Commercial Energy Performance Certificates (Non-Domestic EPC)

The UK is home to some of the oldest buildings in Europe, and these properties hold a significant amount of embodied carbon. It is not feasible to demolish and rebuild them all. At our company, we provide recommendations on the most appropriate energy-efficient improvements, regardless of building age, to reduce carbon emissions and lower energy bills. We also provide advice on the necessary rules for commercial Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and whether you require one. Contact our team to learn more about your obligations and the best approach for your property.

Energy Feasibility Studies.

As the pressure for businesses and local authorities to commit to carbon reduction and support national targets grows, it can be challenging to determine the most suitable energy strategy for your building or organisation. Fortunately, our team of energy consultants is here to help. We offer expert advice on which technologies are best suited to your needs and can help you design strategies that minimise your investment while maximising your savings. Our services range from single studies for individuals to large-scale studies covering multiple buildings. Our reports are tailored to your specific needs and can provide a win-win solution for your bottom line and the planet.

In the meantime we asked him what he is looking forward to the most in his first 12 months at Litegreen and this is what he said:

“The collaborative, team-focused culture that Litegreen has, opportunities to learn and grow my skills from a technical standpoint, and with my skill set and experience a chance to build new working relationships.
